German for companies and professional communication

Strong German language skills give Slovak companies and employees access to clients, partners and professional opportunities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Merkle s. r. o. provides online German training with a strong focus on corporate environments, practical communication and real workplace situations.

Courses are delivered by Stefan Merkle, a native German speaker with more than twelve years of professional teaching experience.

Training based on company needs

Corporate German courses

Courses are prepared according to the company’s requirements and the participants’ actual professional tasks.

Training may focus on:

  • communication with German-speaking clients and colleagues,
  • telephone calls and video conferences,
  • business negotiations,
  • presentations,
  • professional emails,
  • industry-specific vocabulary,
  • informal communication in international teams,
  • preparation for job interviews or new professional responsibilities.

Courses can be provided individually or in small groups.

Experience in real business settings

Experience in a corporate environment

Since September 2025, we have regularly provided corporate German courses for an international technology company operating in Slovakia.

This experience demonstrates that successful corporate training must be based on the participants’ real communication needs. A general textbook alone is not sufficient.

Course content is therefore continuously adapted to workplace situations, the professional environment and the language objectives of the individual team.

Our teaching method

Training focused on real communication

Content, classroom language and pace are adapted to what participants need in their actual professional environment.

Real workplace situations

Training is based on the participants’ actual communication, tasks and professional environment.

German throughout the lesson

The language is used regularly, not merely explained through grammatical rules.

Communication before unnecessary theory

Grammar supports accurate and natural communication, but it does not replace it.

Individual adaptation

Content, pace and objectives are aligned with the needs of the individual participant or team.

German from the first word to the last

Training is conducted entirely, or as far as practically possible, in German. Participants do not merely learn rules; they actively use the language throughout the course.

This method:

  • improves spontaneous communication,
  • reduces the fear of speaking,
  • develops the ability to think directly in German,
  • prepares participants for real professional conversations,
  • improves understanding of naturally spoken German.

Participants at approximately B1 level and above generally benefit most from this method. Individual circumstances can, however, be assessed separately.

Communication before unnecessary theory

Grammar is important, but it should support communication.

Our principle is:

As much grammar as necessary – and as much communication as possible.

Mistakes are corrected systematically without discouraging participants from speaking. The objective is accurate, natural and usable German.

Training tailored to the participant

Individual courses for professionals

In addition to corporate groups, we provide individual online training for:

  • entrepreneurs,
  • managers,
  • specialist employees,
  • people preparing to work in a German-speaking country,
  • candidates preparing for a language examination,
  • clients wishing to improve their spoken German.

Individual courses allow the schedule, pace and content to be adapted precisely to the participant’s objectives.
